Welcome to Fine Arts Summer Camp!
Join us for an unforgettable summer full of excitement, music, and art. Our camp is designed to inspire young aspiring musicians and artists in improving their skills in a fun filled environment. Our camp is divided into weeks for specific age groups. The camp begins every day at 9:00 am and ends at 2:00 pm. We ask each child to bring their own lunch. The cost for each week is $250. Program Highlights:
Sculpture and Art Activities: Each student will be able to choose their own clay sculpture that they will create and paint. The students will learn how to tie-dye and create their own unique combination of colors on a shirt to take home.
Art & Music History and Appreciation: Discover the history of art and music through engaging lessons and discussions on famous artists and musicians. We will learn about various artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, and Pablo Picasso! We will also focus on famous composers like Beethoven, Bach, Chopin, Debussy and Mozart. Each student will create their own masterpieces inspired by the artist of the day. We will use similar mediums and learn the interesting past and inspiration behind these artists.
Mixed Media: We will have a day to explore the world of mixed media art. Combining various materials such as collage, objects, and acrylics to create multimedia artworks that reflect individual expression.
Music Theory and Composition: Each student will be learning new material so don’t worry if your child has a musical background. We have many different levels of theory with varying activities. We will study into the fundamentals of music theory and composition though interactive lessons and hand on activities. Campers will learn about rhythm, melody, notes, harmony and some piano skills. Each day, our music teachers will have new lessons about the basics of reading, writing, and even creating your own unique songs.
