Happy New Year to Everyone! We thank you for all the cards, treats and gifts. We are so fortunate to have such wonderful parents and students.
As we begin the New Year, we focus on the progress our students are making. Music Education gives many skills for successful learning in many different areas.
We will continue with our goals of sight reading, interval recognition and scales. Our music theory programs will continue for each level of music ability. Learning interval recognition helps to move along sight reading. It is not necessary to name each note when playing an instrument. Music flows with interval recognition.
Our mini-Christmas recitals were enjoyed by everyone. This gives our students a chance to play a favorite piece for a small audience.
We have the date for our formal recital. It will be Saturday, February 28 at the Springs of Suntree Club house. Please remember that this recital requires dress-up clothes, no shorts or T-shirts. We will send out more information when the details are all arranged. Sign-ups for your choice of time will be done online.
