Happy New Year Everyone! 

Thank you to all of you that gave us gifts and treats.  We are so appreciative and lucky to have such wonderful parents and students. We are off to a nice start at the music studio in this new year!

Our goal this year is to continue to make the study of music enjoyable and easy to understand. It is a leveling process where we continue to add new techniques and skills as progress builds.

It is exciting to see our students move to a new level of study and to learn new special pieces that they enjoy.

We have two events coming up.  The first is the Florida Federation of Music Clubs Festival on Saturday, February 2, 2019 at the Ascension School on US 1.  This is for selected students who wish to participate in the Festival.  These are exceptional students who can memorize two required pieces and play them privately for a judge and monitor.  Students are given points for their technique and artistry and can use the points to earn a gold cup.  This is an ongoing yearly event for selected students.

The second event includes all our students. It is our yearly formal recital held at the Springs of Suntree Clubhouse  on Holiday Springs Road.  Held on February 23, 2019, this is an all day affair with 4 or 5 recitals starting at 10:00 a.m. and running throughout the day.   You can select the recital time of your choice.  Parents and guests are invited to join us.  We will need a head count so we can accommodate everyone.  Students play their favorite piece or pieces.  Please mark your calendars so you can attend.
