Ms. Loretta Fox
Director
Teaches: Piano, Voice & Harp

Ms. Loretta Fox opened Creative Music & Art Center in February 2000, where her educational and musical background would benefit children and adults to explore the world of music, art, dance and education.

She holds a Bachelor and Master’s Degree in education from the University of Wisconsin and a PH.D in Gifted Education from Columbia Pacific University, San Rafael, CA. Loretta started studying music at age 4 and continued with piano, organ and voice lessons through college. Loretta performed with the Riverport Sweet Adeline Chorus for four years and traveled throughout the United States entertaining and competing. In college she directed numerous musicals and was a church organist for ten years. She is a retired teacher from the Wisconsin public school system, with over 30 years experience.

After retiring in Wisconsin, Loretta taught Kindergarten at Suntree United Methodist Church Preschool for four years and then was the music teacher for 6 more years. Her dream has come true and the Center is growing, and attracting experienced instructors and talented students throughout the community.

Favorite Food: Italian
Hobbies: Traveling, Cruising, Playing the Piano, Playing the Harp, Singing and Shopping. I try to attend local concerts, plays and as many events that I can fit into my schedule.
Of couse, I love teaching students!

Ms. Teree Esctcourt
Teaches: Little Mozart, Violin, and Piano

Music has always been an important part of Ms. Teree’s life. She studied both violin and piano since the 4th grade. She studied violin under Mrs. Pat Dunning, first chair of the Brevard Symphony Orchestra, also playing with the BSO for 3 years .  Later she attended college as a music major and majored in voice.

Ms. Teree has been active in the community, participating in a band that visited various prisons and correctional institutions throughout Florida, where she sang, accompanied on the piano, and played violin.  Also plaing the violin on church worship teams,

Ms. Teree taught in a local private school, teaching 3rd through 6th grade as well as homeschooling her own two children  in kindergarten through high school. She also coached a teen mime group and that won 1st place for 6 years the State Teen Talent Competition in the group and solo division for the state and then participate in International Teen Talent.

She absolutely loves teaching and loves young people. She believes they can do more than they realize and desires to encourage and inspire them to love music and love to play their instrument of choice.  It is an honor and great joy to be able to teach the students of Creative Music Art and Learning Center.

Nathan Corley
Teaches: Violin
Nathan is our newest Violin teacher. He is a 4-time All-County Orchestra performer as well as an All-State Orchestra performer. Nathan has earned multiple Superior and Superior with distinction ratings at the FMEA HS solo and Ensemble Festival. In addition to living in Florida since 2018, Nathan has lived in New Jersey and Vienna, Austria. He has performed across the United States as well as in Vienna and Bratislava. Currently, Nathan is in his sophomore year as Edgewood Jr/Sr High School. He is Associate Concertmaster in Chamber Orchestra and is an Executive Officer in the Tri-M Music Honor Society. Nathan has previously been accepted into the Green Mountain Music Festival and participated in Music Camps at Appalachian State University and Florida State University.

Gabrielle Coppala
Teaches: Piano, Little Mozart, Harp, and Voice
Miss Gabby teaches Little Mozart, Harp, Piano and Voice.  She grew up at the studio and took lessons and was trained in piano harp, and voice. She performed in Federation for seven years as a student of Creative Music.  She is attending Eastern Florida State College.

She sang in chorus every year through high school. While in high school, she took a college level Music Theory Class through AP and passed with both high school and college credit. She hopes to attend FSU in the future and start a degree in Music Education. She is currently a pedal harpist and performed with the Brevard Youth Symphony Orchestra for a few years.  She performs with local choirs and orchestras.

She is a part of Freedom Christian Church worship team.

 

Alex Bauernfield
Teaches: Guitar, Piano, Voice, and Violin
Mr. Alex has been playing and studying music for around 20 years. During that time, he has taken formal lessons for violin, guitar, piano, and vocals.
At Vincennes University, in Indiana, Mr. Alex studied music for two years. He plans to return to school to complete his Bachelor of Arts degree in both teaching and music therapy.
Mr. Alex was previously involved in the music worship teams in Indiana. He currently serves on the Faith Fellowship Church music team.
In his spare time, Mr. Alex’s creative outlets include song writing and recording music for his own personal use.

Justin Hadwin
Teaches: Piano and Guitar
Justin is an excellent guitar and piano instructor. He has a music background of many years, starting with piano instruction from ages 8 to 28 . From this training he self taught himself the guitar. He plays acoustic, electric and prefers the bass guitar as his favorite. Justin teaches at the studio later afternoons, as he works a full time job in addition to his teaching schedule.

Justin enjoys playing video games and sports in his free time.
His favorite food is shrimp scampi.

Amanda Edwards
Teaches: Piano, Violin, and Voice
Amanda has experience in piano, violin, and voice. She is currently studying at Florida Tech, pursuing a Biomedical Science major and a music minor. She plays violin in the Florida Tech orchestra, and sings in the concert choir at Florida Tech. She has taken AP Music Theory, and, throughout high school, she tutored piano students in music theory. She has received superior ratings for piano and violin at the National Federation of Music Clubs.

Makayla Willson
Receptionist
Makayla has been with us since her junior year of high school. You’ll find her behind our front desk ready to assist you with your overall experience. While working here at Creative Music, she is in school pursuing her bachelor’s degree in business. She has studied piano, voice, and percussion throughout her middle and high school years along with other activities. Outside of school and work, she spends most of her spare time with family and friends. Some of her favorite hobbies include anything outdoors like kayaking, biking, hiking and sunset walks by the beach.

Ms. Mary Myers
Piano
Mary has taught music in private lessons and groups/classes in the Brevard area for over 40 years  Her both traditional and non-traditional methods help to develop students in their giftings and learning styles.  Her desire is to help motivate students to enjoy music for life.

She has degrees in: Music from Eastern Florida State College, Business from Warner Southern College, and Ministry from Faith Christian University.  She was director and teacher at Arts of Praise Academy for 10 years, then Jubal Academy of Music for many years.

Mary has led youth choirs and been on worship teams for many years. She was also choir director and pianist for 3 years at the Presbyterian Church of the Good Shepherd in Melbourne.  And is now the Protestant Music Director at the Seaside Chapel at Patrick Airforce Base

Mary teaches all levels of piano from Little Mozart’s to early advanced.  In addition to traditional note reading, she teaches chords, chord charts and fake book music.  Many of her students are now worship leaders and have helped others to do the same.  She has been a member of the FFMC with students participating in Student Day Festival for many years.

Mary’s hobbies are macrame, gardening, travel, and spending time with family and friends.
